Enjoy the wonderful view of Samson, Bryher and Tresco from our Seafood Restaurant situated on the beach at Porthmellon, overlooking the Harbour of St Mary's on the Isles of Scilly in Cornwall, in what used to be the old boat shed.

Imagine...

Sitting enjoying a glass of chilled champagne, locally sourced seafood, savouring the view of the sun setting over the harbour, looking out towards the islands of Samson, Bryher and Tresco. At the height of the Summer, the sunsets right opposite the boat shed, in the middle of the two hills of Samson.

This year, the Boat shed is open evenings only, 5-11pm every day. On balmy evenings, you can enjoy a drink on the decked area from 5pm. From 6pm until 9pm, we serve evening meals. Also, drinks and tapas on the decked area. We open on Friday 2 nd Aptil and close on Friday 24 th September. We are open 7 nights and so you can eat with us on any day of the week, including Saturday and Sundays.

When you find your way to our cozy Restaurant, sit back, relax and enjoy your evening as much as we do! You will find it a wonderful place to unwind and have a great time. We are sure that you will find the ambiance next to none and on those lovely balmy evenings, you can take advantage of the wonderful sunsets over Samson, as the sun sets directly ahead of the boat shed for most part of the summer and on those evenings, the consatina doors will be open to the decked area which overlooks the beach. On the highest tide, the sea laps underneath your feet!

Please note that we do not add tax or service charge to your final bill (tax=our problem and service=our pleasure!) We do our best to make your visit a wonderful experience. In return, your bill will not leave you paralyzed!
