We are a beach bar and café by day.  Monday to Friday, 11 am until 6pm.  Shorts, shades, sun tan cream and bare feet are a must.  We have a fully licensed bar.  We have the most tasty coffee “Lavazza Tierra” exclusive to us.  Strong, but not bitter.  A good selection of soft drinks;  J20’s, presse’s and fruit juice.  Delicious home made cakes;  carrot and walnut, chocolate brownies, flap jacks and a selection of m,uffins.  Bar snacks from 12pm until 4pm.  “Pub type” classics such as chilli and nachos, chilli and rice, salad and sour cream.  Yum!  Light bit on a hot day and warming on a cold.  To suit all occasions at the beach!  Your favourite sandwiches;  Cornish cured ham, cheese and pickles and tuna mayo, with tortilla crisps and crispy leaf salad garnish.  Jacket potatoes with a selection of gorgeous fillings including that age old favourite of Cornish cheddar cheese and beans. Also, Mediterranean style tapas.  Choose your own selection of dishes such as chorizo, feta cheese, oven roasted vegetables and crusty bread.  Wash it down with one of our lovely house wines – a Spanish red and white or  very unusual, but very lovely Hungarian Pinot Grigio blush rose which is particularly good with a light lunch!  Also, your favourite classic home made soups with fresh, crusty bread and butter.

By night – a wonderful Seafood Restaurant and Bar, 6pm until 11pm, Monday to Friday and Sunday evenings (when most places are closed).  Shoes preferable – but not essential!  Six fabulous starters, six mains and six puds, plus the Specials boards, for the “Catch of the Day”. Fresh mussels from the River Exe in Devon.  Local crab pate and delicious crab cakes.  Mains;  Sea bass, chilli and lime squid and our signature dish, “Seafood linguine”.  For the carnivores;  char grilled chicken breast in a creamy pea and garlic tagliatelle and the most amazing Cornish sirloin steak sourced from a local family butchers in St Just, Cornwall, in green chillis and lime on a chorizo, red onion and potato salad with crispy leaves and balsamic red onion.  For the Vegetarians, soup of the day or a red pepper hummous and pita bread, followed by Vegetarian Samosas (to die for!);  one brie and thyme, one tomato and coriander and a third, roasted peppers and cous-cous and crispy leaf salad  Puds to die for!  Bailey’s crème brulee, Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream, chocolate brownies with either clotted cream or ice cream, fresh strawberries or a lovely selection of Cornish cheese and biscuits;  Cornish brie, Cornish blue and Cornish mature cheddar cheese.
